The Story
Ground Zero Blues Club Apartments are located above Ground Zero Blues Club® in what was once a cotton-grading warehouse. Up until the mid-20th century sellers to the company submitted cotton samples, and the fibers were then graded visually against a skylight by the keen eyes of some of Mississippi’s most talented cotton experts. A value description was then assigned based on the quality of the cotton. Cotton companies had a unique professional jargon for various qualities, and it is from there that we named our individual apartments. Don’t be fooled, however: each Delta Cotton Company Apartment is a gem, the only differences being in décor and number of accommodations
All Ground Zero Blues Club Apartments are non-smoking. Each apartment includes fresh linens, appliances and coffeemakers. Although each features a living area with a couch, accommodations are limited to the maximum number of occupants listed per apartment. In other words: you can't let someone sleep on the couch! Prices are discounted for stays over seven days, and long-term rates are available.
Free parking is provided in a well-lit lot adjacent to Ground Zero Blues Club®. On premises coin-operated laundry facilities are available. Rooms are equipped with Direct TV and wireless internet-but sorry, no microwaves or irons. You’ll be having too much fun to notice - we promise. And please be warned: the apartments are over a juke joint, so it tends to get loud when bands are playing. You should be downstairs partying anyway…shame on you!
